The ask
W Hotels hired us to film W Hotel Union Square and the design behind it, a collaboration with Rockwell Group, the New York architecture and design firm.
The approach
We started where the design did, in Rockwell Group's studio: sketches, drawings, models and material boards. Then we filmed the finished hotel the same way, detail by detail, in warm, low light: the lamps, the fabrics, the furniture, the view over Union Square.
